GYAN HOT Yoga is a series of traditional yoga postures practiced in a heatedroom along with Pranayama(breath controlled manner). The series is cardiovascularworkout that strengthens, tones, and stretches the muscles while calming themind and reducing stress. A combination of calm breathing and deep stretching allowsfor greater oxygen supply throughout the body, which returns the system to itshealthiest form. The heat allows for deeper, safer stretching and promotesdetoxification of the skin, blood and muscles through sweat.

GYAN HOT YOGA is a complete workout that focuseson upper and lower body parts strength, balance and flexibility. GYAN Yoga alsofocuses on opening the hips where lower back and knee pain often originate. I am not flexible. How will I keep up.
You don't have to be flexible to start GYAN YOGA. The heated practice roomand breath controlled postures allows tight muscles to stretch with greaterease.
What are the benefits of flexible body
Flexibility in the body let the circulation of blood into all the musclesand organs. It provides young look, higher endurance, stamina. Helps in day today life. Imagine a person who is behind the wheel and is not flexible enoughto check the blind spot. Either get a cramp in neck or change the lane withoutchecking blind spot.

When should I avoid doing HOT YOGA?
Hot Yoga is great for most people, however it is not recommended under the followingcircumstances. However “PRANAYAM” can be practiced in most other circumstances.Call for more information about “PRANAYAM” and its benefits for you.
Pregnancy. Women in their first trimester of pregnancy, unless they havekept up a regular hot yoga practice for at least 6 months, are recommended tostay out of the heated room.
Heart Disease. Those suffering from severe heart disease that limits cardiovascularactivity should consult their doctor about being in a heated environment.
Children. It is best that hot yoga is practiced only after the child's sweatglands have developed - usually around a girl's first menstruation or a boy'sgrowth spurt.
Bring a beach-size towel, water and yoga mat (Mats and towels are alsoavailable for purchase or rent.) Clothing that is light and comfortable isbest. Since the aim is to sweat during the class, it is advisable to bring a changeof top for after class.
How do I prepare for GYAN HOT YOGA?
Come to class on an empty stomach, and avoid coffee before class, drink morewater instead. Try not to eat any heavy meals 2 - 3 hours before practicing,and arrive well hydrated!
Our rental mats are disinfected after each use; if you prefer you can alsopurchase a new one.
It is not recommended to have shower right after any type of yoga. All theancient yoga books say that one should wait for at lease 30minutes after yogapractice. HOT YOGA practice makes your body heat up internally and externallyand taking shower is like mixing cold beverage with hot coffee or tea. Rightafter “HOT YOGA” our mind tries to calm down our system, so let the body getback to its normal before you go for a shower.
